Bone Weight for Studio Meshpart

Studio allows us to add bones, to AvatarImport rigs post-import. This suggests these are useable, scriptable. But how do I assign vertices (weight paint) for them, or really give them any effect on my mesh?
Only the on import in Blender bones with their prefab weights seem to move.

You can’t paint weights in Roblox Studio. This has to be done in a 3D App like Blender and then imported in to Studio through Avatar Importer.

Is the bone need to add on a 1 mesh or 1 model that have many mesh
