UPDATE

  • JUGGERNAUT MODE!
    - Up to two monsters are selected, and they’re 1.5x bigger AND have more hearts
    - Happens every 2 rounds (classic, classic, juggernaut, classic, classic, juggernaut, etc.)
    - Needs a minimum of 6 players in the game, and only level 10+ can be juggernaut (sometimes lower levels might slip in though)
    - The Juggernaut is selected in order of who has been in the server longest without being juggernaut (first come first serve, it’s not random)
    - MORE DETAILS ABOUT JUGGERNAUT:
    - 20% higher walkspeed
    - 85% stamina cost (on top stamina cost reduction on each heart lost)
    - 87.5% cooldowns (on top cooldown reduction on each heart lost)
    - 1.5x knockback on everything
    - ALL Melee Attacks have increased hitbox to reflect their new size
    - Ranged Attacks that have increased hitbox: Reptire, Casa Loco
    - Area Attacks that have increased hitbox: Insquidious (including ink blocks)
    Q: Why don’t all juggernaut attacks have increased hitboxes?
    A: Everything is still subject to change, but for the most part, right now only attacks that affect the juggernaut’s ability to defend itself at close range were given the increased hitbox
    - MAYBE in future update, you’ll be able to pick someone to be juggernaut with you
    Other Updates
  • Chicken Minion has a new attack :egg:, more minion attacks coming soon!
  • Casa Loco’s tornado can pick up player-controlled minions

Balance Changes

  • Walls start to shrink at the 2 minute mark! This is because it’s not a game of hide and seek, and runners can often make rounds last too long
  • When the monster button re-activates, and when its bubble pops, it releases a puff of air to give a bigger pushback to anyone on the button
  • Meltzer’s area attack now slows instead of freezes
  • When Knittens falls during its area attack, it’ll push people directly under Knittens down (90% of people aren’t gonna notice this)
  • Shrunk Reptire’s map + monster collisions, hopefully this will make turning a bit less janky

Bugfixes

  • Fixed attack and stamina getting stuck if it was used when you didn’t have enough stamina on the server

HOLIDAY UPDATE

  • Extra Candy (above 4000): 1 Donut per 20 Candy

What are donuts?

  • They are a new currency that will be used to buy cool NEW costumes and other stuff!
  • They will serve a purpose AFTER the Holiday update so we can spread out content; we just really wanted to compensate you guys on your unused stuff
  • We’re adding this shop so we can add new costumes without them having to be event themed, and so they don’t get in the way of the Costume Collection achievements

  • Time limit for late joiners raised from 20 seconds in, to 40 seconds in

Changes to make the experience for newer players better
- Humans will revive with one heart under the following conditions:
- at least 6 participants at the beginning
- more than 1 monster
- died within the first 45 seconds of the round
OR
- at least 6 participants at the beginning
- level 15 or under
- pushed less than 2 buttons
- died within the first 2 minutes of the round
- at least 50% of humans left
- at least 5 monster buttons in total left

- Monsters will get a bubble over their button on their final heart
- Monsters will drop a little exp and some coins when they self destruct

CHANGES

  • When monsters spawn, they will only knockback. They used to do damage, but only newer players would really get hit, and they’d be eliminated super early which gave a bad first user experience
  • Slightly nerfed Egg Launcher, egg is smaller and slide off a bit faster
  • New more stable ragdoll
  • Meteor blast pressure reduced by 25%

BUG FIXES

  • Can control meteor with thumbstick on mobile again
  • Fixed bug where sometimes you wouldn’t respawn after becoming a meteor
  • Fixed endless falling when everyone leaves or resets while you’re selecting a monster (premature round end broke people until a new round began)

EASTER EVENT IS OVER!

  • A Chicken has shown up in the lobby, it’ll hatch your Egg Hunt Eggs for you!
    - For any rewards for monsters you don’t have, the chicken will go to sleep until you’re able to claim it
    - The chicken will remain for months; we’ll let you guys know in advance of when it’s leaving
  • Leftover Easter Eggs were converted into Coins at a 2:1 ratio
  • Egg Launcher taken off sale (for now), and it now temporarily obscures the vision of monsters hit by an egg

MINION UPDATES

  • Minions are now equippable, everyone starts with a Cow and Mailbox minion
  • Their attacks got a complete remake (but still kinda sucks)
  • More minion updates coming soon (attacks, a ranch, better overall)!

MORE UPDATES

  • Round results sorted by who died last, who survived, and who won
  • Some performance and collision improvements from turning CanTouch off on a bunch of parts
  • (Keyboards) changed proximity prompt key to E, and made it so your gadget won’t be triggered while a prompt is being shown

Reptire Balances:

  • Increased turn speed (it was nerfed too hard the first time, sorry about that lol)
  • Decreased jump height (idk why it was so high in the first place!)
    Melee Attack
  • On every other Melee Attack, a blast of wind will come out from the exhaust pipes (right by the button) and launch players above the button up into the air

Ranged Attack

  • Turn speed increased by 15%
  • Fire no longer goes through walls, but it can quickly burn through the wall
    - It feels like a buff to be honest because it makes it easier to get players on buildings since it can burn down the structure they’re on

Area attack

  • Damage frequency reduced (0.4s->0.65s), but roll duration extended (8s->8.5s)
  • Top speed reduced by 10 units (60->50)
  • Made an attempt to make hitbox better, not sure if it worked or not

  • Its Ranged Attack can light Insquidious’ ink on fire

  • New gadget! Since humans will now have the hammer at all times, the gadget was replaced by a trampoline which will be the new default gadget everyone starts with

  • Added a question mark button beside special costumes in the Costume Collection that tells you how to get it
  • Level Leaderboard extended to 100 (new leaderboards still coming soon)
  • By popular demand, Monster Bundle limit raised to 5
  • Added a new gamepass: Play My Way Pass. It removes the level requirement on monsters, and gives you 1500 Dux. This gamepass is meant for new players with low levels who immediately want a specific monster

Mobile updates:

  • Disabled auto jump. It was annoying for most users, because it would make them jump over coins
  • When you launch a projectile as a monster, a sphere shows up where it’s going to land (more aiming changes coming soon)

  • Knittens
    - BUFF: Melee attack cooldown lowered by 0.1 seconds (1.2s->1.1s)
  • Insquidious
    - Ranged attack more stable
    - Can walk through ink blocks without trouble now
    - BUFF: Ranged attack explodes with ink blocks on impact that ink players who touch them
    - BUFF: Ink is now flammable! If a DoodleBoard uses its melee attack on an ink block, it will light on fire and damage any player that touches it instead of inking them
    - NERF: To compensate, ranged attack cooldown raised by 4 seconds (14s->18s)
  • Casa Loco
    - BUFF: Ranged attack hitbox increased by 13.5%
    - BUFF: 3 seconds after the ranged attack’s first impact, the furniture explodes and damages any nearby players in a small radius
    - NERF: To compensate, ranged attack cooldown raised by 4 seconds (10s->14s)

  • A 5% discount on all purchases with Dux or Coins
    ADDING:
  • A daily Cardboard Box for the monster of your choice

AND price reduced from 650 Robux to 400 Robux
ANDDDD Anyone that already has the gamepass was given 500 Robux worth of Dux (800 Dux) as compensation for reducing the price
Bugfixes:

  • Map destruction bonuses more accurate (which means more coins for monsters too)
  • Fixed the time on sent/received on trades
  • Fixed race condition where if you respawned while turning into a meteor, you’d turn into a beyblade
  • Rewrote stamina code from scratch, it hopefully shouldn’t lock at empty or full anymore

  • Odds of coin appearing in a round reduced to ~14% (was 20% per second, but was 10% per second before that)

  • Every time a monster’s button is pushed, their Ranged and Area attack cooldowns will be 7.5% shorter, and all their attack stamina costs will be 10% less. So, this means monsters with one heart will have their attack cooldowns (except melee) reduced by 14.4% and their attack stamina costs reduced by 19%.

    - NERF: Melee attack cooldown raised by 0.2 seconds (1.2s->1.4s)
    - BUFF: Melee attack stamina cost lowered by 5 (21-> 18)
  • Minotaur
    - BUFF: Area attack launches nearby humans extra far, and stuns them for a couple seconds

    - BUFF: Players who are inked, have black dots on them which can be seen through walls; which makes them easier to target

  • Added “Glass Hearts” to monsters:
    Basically, monsters will start off with a bubble around their button, which acts as an extra heart. It has an enlarged hitbox, which makes it easier hit, but doesn’t offer a button cooldown, nor does it offer a reward to whoever hit it. It is meant to help balance gameplay a bit more in favour of the monsters.

  • Players no longer have to equip a monster to change costumes; removed monster equipping altogether since you can already pick which monster you want to use before a round begins
  • Made it easier to pick which monster you want to buy costume boxes for
  • Players that are away show their indicator above their name tag instead of replacing it

  • Small nerf to Minotaur: slightly longer melee cooldown, reduced melee knockback
  • Remade the castle in the Fantastic Wall map because it was annoying me

  • Added Meteor Skin shop!!
  • If you didn’t already know, during rounds, spectators can jump off the lobby to turn into a meteor that can destroy buildings and stun humans!!
  • Revamped the Equipment page to make room for this new item
  • Gave VIP players an EXCLUSIVE Duck Meteor Skin that quacks when it explodes
  • Gave Starter Pack gamepass owners exclusive Stack of Books Meteor Skin
  • Patched 0 cooldown exploit
  • More meteors coming soon, probably after release
