Boost Vector Update 6.62, Overdue Maintenance

Happy days, Boost Vector getting an update? We’re just here to polish off all the loose ends and re-introducing some features! Enjoy!

NEW STUFF

  • Quick reset! Press and hold G or down on the directional pad for you controller users
  • 2 new mission types! Streak (hold a podium position streak) and Boost (complete races using a certain boost type)
  • VIP server only maps! These are maps that are either in progress or just won’t be put in the main game. No records will be available for these VIP server exclusive maps. We got 19 of 'em:

    • Temple De La Terre
    • Lighthouse (Skeleton)
    • Dark Edge
    • Old versions of: Bekuta, Dirt Valley

  • Full Korean localization! This was a lot of work, but we’ve done it! There are a few additional spots that are still English but they will be localized soon.

CHANGES

  • Removed bots – they floated away
  • Removed treadmills – honestly who used these things lol
  • Reverted crystal outline effect --was cool but also kinda funky, inner neon glitched in and out it was wack
  • Daily mission progress bar now has more space between it and the type of daily mission
  • Daily mission rewards changed to 500 crystals for each mission
  • Daily mission reward is much easier to read
  • UI cleaned up in: Skins screen, Map intro screen, Stats menu
  • Directional arrow at the end of Bekuta
  • When equipping a skin with the SWAPPER modifier (Kunshu), if your boost was previously Blink it will now swap to Burn instead of Blaze
  • Edits to the lunging system to not contribute to speed if above a certain threshold

FIXES

  • Lighthouse rocks are anchored
  • Lighthouse death loop fixed
  • Hyper Pit track is now 100% smooth (stinky weld lol)
  • Raised Hyper Pit and Orion start borders (could actually jump over them)

  • Fixed camera not working on join
  • Fixed Bandfestation left arm orientation and Crystal Contagion not being attached to the arm
