It’s funny how my game increased in players today yet the monetization has gotten worse. Every new thumbnail I try gets worse QPTR somehow than a very lazy thumbnail I have had (and that thumbnail’s QPTR keeps going down). Get rid of these 7 day signals. It says boost your discovery when it’s the opposite for my home impressions.
And if I am being honest, there is far too much weight on thumbnail QPTR in general with this new algorithm, all it’s doing is presenting more clickbait on the home page for some of the lowest quality games out there. They are able to maintain high players from the sheer amount of players clicking and playing the game for one or two minutes before leaving. I’ve had a game in the 90th benchmark for session time constantly and the algorithm did not react until I made a new thumbnail, QPTR is like the only benchmark that matters now on my end.
completely L update, my game went from 300 players to 2k in 2 days after it got discovered by algo, it used to get 30-60k home recommendations. Now only 200 home recomm per day. My qptr was 1.6% and now it is 0.4%. What a disaster? How can this happen
This algorithm change has caused a few of my games to drop to extremely low CCUs compared to before the change. I really hope some adjustments or made or this change is reverted.
Please revert it, now I do not know if this type of behavior from the recommended algorithm is normal (look at my impressions) but by now my game should have hundreds of players and I do not understand what the algorithm is doing? I get 3k home recommendation impressions D1 Playtime of home recommendation per player is 17 Minutes and retention 26% how is it possible that I get LESS impressions?
This change is killing my game. the QPTR benchmark is literally IMPOSSIBLE to even touch. This is stunting my home recommendations and growth. I’m watching my CCU slice in half week after week and i’m so tired of these abrupt algorithm changes
BUG report: Has roblox removed their algorithm push for new games. Home impression broken?!??
How on earth is a game supposed to reach its target audience if it won’t be pushed on the algorithm initially at launch?!?!??!?! Not roblox ruining the good thing they left small developers.(This worked earlier this year in March)

Does anyone know WHAT happened to new game boosting on the algorithm. I am wasting tons and tons of robux for a game that was on the algorithm just last month. Does ANYONE know?!!
It used to be 7 days of ads and algorithm boost back in 2024 - March. Now do we just advertise for 1 month straight?!!!
I’ve been running ads, and it seems like the algorithm is starting to pick up my game (the impressions are rising 50-150% a day). When impressions were lower, my QPTR was around 3%. But over the last 30 hours, I’ve been getting around 50 impressions per hour, and my QPTR has dropped to 1.18%.
Does anyone know what’s going on? Is the algorithm broadening the audience?
The game I’m trying to push isn’t in a small niche either, there are several similar games in the same category with anywhere from 100 to 3k CCU, so finding the right audience should NOT be hard.
Are your impressions over 12k per day on home? Seems not good and has 0 new push for new games unlike it used to have from like 2024 - March of this year. I have advertised for 15 days(15!!!) on a relaunched game that had 1k ccu and it can’t break higher than 15k impressions. The qualified click rate would obviously go back up IF IT WAS PUSHED AS A NEW GAME WITH MORE IMPRESSIONS. But roblox broke something or didn’t reveal part of this updates affect on new games…
I also spoken to Xezlo who also pushed new games tycoons on the algorithm for the last year like me. I have advertised for 15 and he has done about 10 days now. Still 0 push for anyone!!!

My impressions from home recommendation on 10th of may were 594 and 11th 423 but its weird because they don’t reach the same audience as when the QPTR was 3%!!! It is now 1.2% and the average playtime from home recommendation has fallen, I am just hoping that it finds the right audience to push to…
But it’s just very weird what’s happening, my game should have gotten a push by now, my stats are decent for a new game and very good for people coming from home recommendation… It also earns decent money… It has so much potential…
Yeah I don’t think they ever will boost new games like they were for the last 10 months. They either broke it on accident or are trying to hide it. Either that or you will need to sponsor for nearly triple the timeframe now which is just awful.
