Both Roblox Studio and Roblox Player unable to install

I have recently tried to launch Roblox Player and Roblox Studio. However, when I try to do so, an error pops up aftier says “Please Wait…” for a few seconds.

I have tried launching each of these individually, and running them as administrator, but no luck.

Opening RobloxStudioLauncherBeta.exe seems to work, but when it gets to “Getting the latest Roblox…” it gives me this error:

I can get around the Player issue easily by using Bloxstrap, however having these errors happen is quite odd. Previous updates have worked just fine.

COMPUTER SPECS:
OS: Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 Ti
RAM: 8 GB

I cannot open Studio to edit files/experiences at all.

Can you please try deleting the previous version of Roblox that are downloaded, then running the installer again?
They can be found at %localappdata%/Roblox/Versions.

Your dated computer specs could also be a factor. A CPU from 2007 is going to be pushing it, even if you get Roblox to run.

I’m still receiving the same errors, despite deleting all version folders present.

I stand corrected.
It seems to have been an issue with what I believe is the shortcuts. Installing the new version of Roblox and Roblox Studio from the site and opening the apps from my taskbar seems to have fixed the issue.
