Bounty Hunter R15 LowerTorso mesh deformed

Edit: Originally mesh was deleted by asset auto-rejection bug, but was approved and now now mesh is deformed (see post #3)

The Bounty Hunter’s lower torso mesh for R15 appears to be gone. Its mesh is set to this asset which has been deleted (presumably due to the auto asset rejection bug), so in-game it appears invisible:

It also appears invisible on character thumbnails and the torso’s store page. It shows up fine on the package’s store page, but I assume that’s because either the thumbnail isn’t auto-generated from the components, or it just hasn’t been updated since the mesh changed.

This is fixed now.

Was the wrong mesh asset assigned to it? It’s a lot shorter than it should be.

This mesh was updated to match the R6 version of the package with a shorter coat.

Ah, reasonable enough. Though, I bought the package specifically because the coat was long, and a lot of other people have in the past half-year it’s been long. The short version isn’t what I’m going for, so I’ve switched back to my old R6 avatar.

Packages support multiple assets, so is it possible to include a second Torso asset? One for the shorter version, and one for the longer version? That way, all users get what they paid for and get to use the appearance they prefer most. The rest of the package is the same, so there’s no need to create a whole new one, unless it’s not technically possible to have two Torsos in a single package.

@TheGamer101 Any word on adding the longer variant as a second torso to the package? If it’s not technically feasible, just let me know – I just want to make sure this is looked into considering everyone who bought the Bounty Hunter package for the past half year (and everyone buying it still since the thumbnail hasn’t updated) did so because they preferred the long coat, as opposed to the miniskirt look.

The thumbnail has now been updated to accurately reflect the current mesh.

As far as I know there is no technical reason we can’t add two Torso parts to a package, but this could be confusing from a user experience standpoint. When equipping a package with two Torsos I’m not sure if it is defined which will be equipped first.

If the one that will be equipped is controllable, and bounty hunter had two torsos, it would make sense for the one displayed in the thumbnail to be the one equipped when wearing the whole package.

As for confusion, I don’t think there will be a problem from the avatar editor page. If a user sees “Bounty Hunter Torso - Long”, it will be crystal clear which package it belongs to and that it’s a variant, as they’ll see the normal torso next to it. In recent items, it won’t matter because the user has already seen the long variant in the torso list at that point. You may run into an issue with the store page where it’s not clear the package contains a variant, but I think that’s a much nicer “problem” (no one will complain if they get an extra torso for free) than buying a trenchcoat and having it turn into a miniskirt with sleeves.
