Brazil Servers Coming Early 2026

Yeah, but shouldn’t that should be related to ping as opposed to framerate?

Yes, it’s related to ping, not framerate (as far as I know). It may be a spelling mistake.

Thats most likely the case of why the Roblox Brazilian servers is set to early 2026. But I feel like they could build the server buildings quicker and then it would be like the mid part of mid 2025 or early part of late 2025. Just saying though.

I am so happy that this finally happened! Just a bit upset because this took like 5 years since the first official announcement that it will happen,.

Why hasn’t the Roblox Brazilian servers even release to Brazil a long time ago? Plus the whole continent of South America also needs it because the countries surrounding Brazil don’t have their own servers. I get that it will take way longer with construction and funding but slowly release the servers to a specific location at least though! I know that people near Sao Paulo will get to play Roblox with either mild amount of ping or minimal amount of ping. But there are people in countries bordering Brazil that are so far away from Sao Paulo that the least amount of ping defined is potentially mild.

Ok, can we stop with the Friends to Connections thing?

Anyways, nice update! People in Brazil will be super happy about this! :brazil::brazil::brazil:

Brazil is a very difficult country to connect to others, so servers tend to not serve the general region well, in other games, I distinctly recall hearing about people connecting from Argentina to a datacenter in Brazil getting pings so high that they genuinely got better connection to an American server.

As far as I know, Roblox really wanted to avoid this issue and probably spent the past few years working towards a solution, buying/building a ton more datacenters isn’t really an option for Roblox because Roblox is a pretty demanding service, so these will be more expensive relatively speaking than it would be for other buyers, thus high utility is valued a lot by Roblox.

Finally! South America servers have been a heavily requested thing for years now, and it’s actually finally happening. Hopefully it goes through this time…

But servers don’t render anything, only the client does that. This should be reworded to “better latency” instead of “better frame rates”.

Also its kind of interesting this is happening soon because the Lua scripting language originated from Brazil. Interesting attention to detail. This is quite funny though because Australia doesn’t seem to have servers anymore (or never had them to begin with. I am not aussie so I can’t confirm)
