So will the Caribbean get servers, or would you guys be setting your focus on South Africa and the middle east?

I remember getting into some Brazilian servers back in September, and I never got into one after a while now, were they being tested?

Don’t forget that the Brazilian playerbase is the second biggest, only behind US.
Though, as you said yourself, the servers should be able to handle neighbouring countries aswell.

Roblox already have servers in the UK. With Brazilian servers coming out at early 2026, the African continent and Asia excluding South East Asia are the only regions that would lack servers now. I hope that both will get servers too so that people playing in Africa and Asia can get lower latency. Maybe a server in the UAE or Saudi Arabia to serve the Middle East would be good while one in Egypt/Algeria/Morocco to serve North Africa and servers in South Africa to serve the Southern half of Africa would be a good idea. I don’t think that there are significant amount of Roblox players in Central Asia and central Africa that would require servers to serve them.
Now with that server update,nothing can stop us!

It’s been explained by someone else up top before, but poor latency tends to cause lag spikes, the client has to immediately process a lot of backed up network data and potentially render them within a very short amount of time to catch up
So in general better latency does lead to better frame rates, but I do agree the OP should’ve clarified a bit more

Making datacenters is very long, because there’s a ton of security & maintenance rules to follow (flooding, earthquakes, strong winds, cooling, avoiding physical breaches, avoiding humidity, loud sounds, vibrations caused by servers, energy supply, etc…)
The building quality needs to be higher in general and thus longer
Rushing servers/datacenters is a bad idea, even more so for a platform like ROBLOX
