Broken dynamic head animations

When importing a dynamic head that I want to put on the marketplace, the rig breaks when imported from Blender into Studio. All previous weights are ignored and replaced, and animations don’t align with animations in Blender. The geometry is also changed when imported, causing deformations.

Im pretty sure that the only things that you can import into studio from blender are mesh and image texture. That excludes bones and their weight paints’ effects.

Also, .obj models do not support model rigging, if you are using a .obj file. Any model exported to the .obj format will lose its rigging information and not have any bones included.

Try rigging in roblox studio maybe

Clarification, the rig only breaks when trying to test the face animations using the avatar setup feature in Studio.

the avatar setup feature re-weig paints and makes new cages for whatever mesh you put into it…

I got banned from a cage mesh generated by the avatar setup tool :unamused:ugh. It was only for a little while but still… It wasnt even my mesh!! I didnt even make it!!! Appealing did nothing!! I was banned for like misuse of roblox tools! I litterly cannot control what it does!!! why is the mesh even put under my account??? no one asked it to do that!!! AAAAAAAAA-

anyways…Is it possible to not use the avatar setup tool?
