Bubble chat not appearing above your own head in mobile

I’ve been getting a ton of reports from players that when you send a chat message on mobile/tablet in a game with Roblox’s bubble chat, the chat bubble doesn’t appear above your own head (on your screen and on other players’ screens). However, chat bubbles do appear above other players’ heads. This just started happening yesterday. The bug doesn’t affect PC.

Tested it on my Samsung Galaxy S7 and this is the error I saw in my game:

I do not use a custom ChatScript in my game.

There seems to be an issue with chat on clients running old versions since the last release where the old chat system is loaded instead of the new chat. I am looking into this and think I have found a possible cause.
