Bug in Avatar Editor with Dynamic Heads

Hello! I have found a bug with the Dynamic Heads, specifically Stevie Standard, where they don’t appear to have the same proportions for Layered Clothing as Classic Heads.

Really Messes up things whenever I use a Full Body Outline, and it doesn’t look right.

Steps to Reproduce:

1: Go to Avatar Editor to equip a Full Body Outline for R15 with a Block Body.
2: Equip “Stevie Standard” alongside this.

Expected Behavior:

It should look Just Like This, but with a Dynamic Head:

Actual Behavior:

It does this:

Thank you for reading this! I hope this gets fixed soon.

Hello trtman33,

Thanks for flagging this.

This is technically not a bug. There are differences between the Wrap Target of the Default head and the Wrap Target of Stevie Standard. The Default is meant for 2D faces, so we never adjusted the facial features of the Wrap Target. But because Stevie has actual 3D eyes and mouth, we adjusted the Wrap Target accordingly.

What we can do though is make the difference smaller, especially at the top, side, and back of the head, but the face will always be different. We don’t have a timeline for when this update will be implemented, but we will flag this and update when we can.

Thank you again!

I mean, it bugs me, sooo.

I think it’s a bug, because Roblox designed these heads to be Just Like the original, just with Facial Movements.

Well, it’s not “Just Like” them if the avatar items don’t fit the head.

Update: The bug is now gone for “Stevie Standard”!!

With the newer versions of the heads that have improvements and changes for Facial Accessories, the head no longer looks weird with my Outline!

New Version:

I’m glad this is fixed now for “Stevie Standard”.

But this is still a bug. It’s not fixed for any of the other heads. They still have the weird Hexagon.

but my joyful smile is broken

there is a space between mouth and eyes. I like the old version where it doen’t have big space

Thanks for the report! We’ll follow up when we have an update for you.
