It’s been a pain but I got the system to what I wanted.

  1. When you place parts, and they are next together they become to an attached structure.
  2. If it has multiple legs and one gets removed, it still stands if it has a remaining amount of legs.
  3. But if all of them are gone then it falls down all together.

That’s about it. Any suggestions would be great on anything really!

This already looks so well polished! If i joined a game with this design made for interacting with your surroundings, then I would definitely be more inclined to play it. The only future problem I can think of, is editing from certain camera angles. Like if you were in a small room and you were trying to place blocks, then your camera could get covered or be too close to the player. But in general you’ve done a great job! Good luck <3.

This building block system looks VERY GOOD AND COOL! Great job on making it! How long did it take to create? What game will it be used in? Building systems are fun!

Looks great! Lucky you’re dealing with cubes. Any other shape I can’t script to place correctly. How come the bottom legs turn red though. Is it just to show that those are the remaining legs?

that looks pretty nice, i’ve always wondered how systems like these works, do you usually create a grid first then add the building mechanic?
