Building bug permenant blackscreen

Hello! I am not sure where to categorize this, as the bug can not easily be replicated. I was messing around with some public assets in studios and one of them was extremely large. The camera as usual in studios when you insert an object zoomed incredibly far out. After that and attempting to zoom back in my camera blackscreened. Resetting studio settings and even reinstalling studios did nothing to help this, as it’s an issue with my camera position I believe. I want to reset my camera to the usual spawn position, but am not sure how to achieve this.

No matter how far out you’ve zoomed, it should not cause your screen to turn black.

Re-installing studio should have resetted any camera issues, but I don’t believe its a camera issue. But if you do, you can reset to the default settings by clicking on camera in the explorer as shown and copying these values over:

Alright. I tried resetting the values but it did not work. I don’t believe I can change my camera position using this and haven’t found a way to do so. It only happened after this asset was used, and continued even after it was deleted. Using model scopes to enter/exit the model failed to help.

Your screen is entirely black? If not, please provide a picture.

Edit: you can change your cameras position by scrolling, or by selecting any object in the workspace and hitting F to zoom and focus on that object.

The screen is not entirely black on my end, but screenshotting using Roblox makes this show up. Only the actual game is blacked out, the studio ui is still visible.

After using f to focus on an object, the error was fixed. Thank you.

Ok thats more info… so the game is black only… not studio? if thats the case, check your StarterGUI folder for anything that was inserted there that should be.

Great… glad to help, please mark my suggestion as solution so others know what to do in similar situation.
