I think this might have something to do with accidentally dragging a model with hundreds of parts, which is easier than ever to do because of this studio update
But anyway, after accidentally moving a model with a couple hundred parts, when I hit Ctrl Z, I think some of the parts are glitched and the grid changes. I don’t know when these bricks messed up with aligning to the original grid, but I know there is a bug somewhere here that should be fixed asap.
Either the bug happens when hitting Ctrl Z after moving a model, or it happened because a grid glitch in one of the new studio updates.
Could do with a plugin that would act as a temporary fix and detect out of place parts and ask you if you wanted their position rounded to remove the errors. Anaminus reckons this bug is about using Models, but it’s difficult to avoid using them.
That explains why it is fixable by replacing the parts. But I need to use some kind of grouping for the parts. I wonder if I grouped parts into another part if that would cause any rounding errors like this later on.
We have a fix for the world snap on mouse down that we will be releasing soon. The engineer is still working on removing all of the world snapping from the draggers.
http://www.gametest2.robloxlabs.com/ now has small change having to do with Dragger Grid. Basically the move tool should no longer try to allign to a world grid and move things RELATIVE to their previous position. Please install Studio from GameTest2 and give us some feedback on how it feels.
