Building orientation problem

Hi guys. Does anyone know why this happens? I’m new to building, in fact I was trying to copy Quenty’s free model for a street light to get some experience and learn a bit about building. I was building the “arms” and I encountered this problem. The brick doesn’t wan to go to the centre of the body of the street lamp, if I move it, it either stays on the left or right. Please help me if you know the answer. Thank you so much.

It could be your increment.

Try changing your increment to 0.1, should do the trick!

Hi so sorry for troubling you but I’m not really sure what increment is and where to change it, can you show me please?

You can see the increment in the middle of this image.

I also look forward to seeing your builds!

Oh yeah I just realised, it works now but can I do that with the normal Roblox functions? like the scale, move and rotate. Thank you by the way.

I don’t know about that because I am a newer builder.

Oh that’s fine. At least I can do that with f3x I’m probably going to use it for all my building, so I may not need the normal Roblox functions.
