Building Showcase 01: WIP Yellowstone Steam Locomotive

Built through the course of ~3 months, its Baker valve gear was the most challenging part of the build, I didn’t have good image references for it. Overall I’m proud of the outcome, of course these locomotives are to be functional.

Dimensions are:

  • 6 stud gauge track, or to scale in real life the broad gauge (1.676meters) times that by 25/7 and you’ll get the measurement in studs.

  • Locomotive width: 14.5 studs from cab door to cab door.

  • Locomotive height: ~21.2 studs from the roof of the cab to the wheel base contact.
