For some reason, while using Building Tools by F3X and specifically the “Last” movement type and rotation type, every part inside of the model randomly rotates and moves! I’ve been using F3X for years now and have never run into this problem until a recent update of the plugin. The problem also does NOT occur if you ungroup, then group the model without unselecting it. However, the moment you unselect and reselect the model it breaks once again. Is anyone else having this problem? Am I going to have to stop using F3X?
Are you sure the plugin you are using is by the original person who made it?
Looks like you should contact whoever updated the plugin.
Yeah it’s the original plugin, made by GigsD4X. Do you know how I would go about contacting them? Is there a way for me to do that through the Dev Forum?
Either PM them on Roblox, or just @ them here.
If I’m correct, It happened to me also.
The parts are typically glued together.
Basically anything grouped are angled differently OR in different position.
Take by example Roblox’s gear, Tommy Gun.
If you manually moved it, and not grabbing it by crusor and swerving with it, you’ll realize that some parts have dismantled.
So maybe the solution is to ungroup it, select the parts you’re going to move/angle, execute the action, and group it back again if you wish!
Also addressing it to the Owner of the plugin will be really helpful!
I did @ the owner of the plugin since his roblox messages aren’t open. This honestly is the only solution I’ve found in order to use the last movement. For now, it seems just using the basic Roblox building system is just easier to use, even if I’m not used to it. Which does suck since I’m so used to the plugin.
They were last seen on March 4th, according to their profile.
They likely won’t respond, or at least, not for a while.
I’d say it’s best to wait for another update or try using the built-in tools.
If any of your friends or anybody you know still have the older version of the plugin you can ask them for the plugin file.
Thank you! This actually ended up working since my friend had an older version. If anyone else is having problems with this, here is the file I used. It seemed to work if I uploaded it as a local plugin.
