Builtin and installed plugins failed to load if special character in install path

Still can’t see anything else, mayby you require Windows Pro or something? This can Be also mayby solved by just using another Windows user?

Yes, correct! You can use another account to fix this problem (remember no special characters in your name) , no it doesn’t require windows pro.

Sorry about this issue. We accidentally broke this with a flag flip last Thursday and have turned off the offending flag until we have a proper fix.

No worries, is there a expected time for fix or not yet?

That is weird, I too have an “ø” in my last name, and I am also from Denmark.
This thing happened to me around the same time you posted this, I was forwarded here from my previous post regarding this.

It seems strange as I have done exactly the same things to solve my problem without any luck. However it all worked perfectly fine again when I randomly entered studio yesterday.

Thank you. Appreciate it a lot

I know this will be/is fixed as @Mr_Purrsalot said, but I managed to make an easy workaround locally. (I couldn’t reply earlier, since I just joined the forum 5 days ago and you can’t reply until you become member.)

The same error happened to me, since I have an “å” in my username in windows. After some searching on the internet, the following solved the problem for me, where I enabled UTF-8 for programs that don’t support it.

  1. Open the windows control panel
  2. Click on “Clock and Region” and then “Region”
  3. Go to the “Administrative” tab and click on “Change system locale”
  4. In the new “Region Settings” window, enable “Beta: Use unicode UTF-8 for worldwide language support”
  5. Restart PC.

That solved it for me.
