Solution:
Bulk Insert (Like MeshParts) should be supported (for Decals), Keeping the File Name.
Insufficient workaround: Select a part and drag decal onto it preserves name, but only inserts one at a time.
Double clicking just names it Decal, for no good reason.
Adding onto this: You should be able to click and drag assets into the explorer (or onto a part) to insert them. Would definitely improve developer experience!
Not only does it apply to inserting, it also applies to copy pasting IDs, I got rbxassetid://13419590318 instead of having multiple in one clipboard, so I believe this is a good idea
Support, I’ve found this extremely annoying in the past having to insert a ton of decals individually. A “Insert selected” feature would be great
I think, not only should the mass-selected images from Asset Manager be imported with valid names (without having to drag & drop them onto parts) in two clicks, but also the developer must be asked if they want to import images as Decals, Textures, ImageLabels, etc. Such basic and necessary features missing in Roblox Studio for YEARS is unacceptable, they do nothing but make developing Roblox games harder.
