Bullet Dungeon Performance FPS?

Hello!

I’ve been working on a unique dungeon game for a while and only a few people have played it. I kind of want to know about how smooth the game runs because there are hundreds of bullets during the boss fights. You can also give dungeon, gun, feature, etc… ideas for the game

yoooooo. this game is actually good :skull: since when are good games posted on here. im being so seriously I would actully play this in my free time. ok but for the review now. the game runs normally i saw no difference between the normal dungeon and the boss fight. keep in mind my pc is horrible and needs to stay on 1 graphics quality if i want to run anything near 30 fps on any roblox game. this game runs better than most. nowwwwww i do have to give some critisicm ofcourse, but its for your own good LOL. ookkk so the time limit is way too long, i stopped playing halfway to help my mom for a few minutes and i beat the boss with 6 minutes to spare. also, i love the roll animaion, if you can make the rest of the movement animations match with it it wwill be awesome. also the spawn points for the bots are still visible fyi. lastly, the ui at the top which shows the level ur own is pretty useless. less ui that has more important info is better than tons of ui with non-inportant info. well done on the game!

This game was pretty fun, i played the dungeon and my experience was smooth and i found the game mechanics pretty fun. Some things you should consider changing is the bullet speed. Right now in the first dungeon i went too, i found the bullets to be pretty slow but it matches with the speed of the npcs. Im not sure if you could really upgrade the speed since i didnt play for that long but if npcs in the future do you get faster consider changing the bullet speed since it doesnt feel like an actual real bullet more of a slower projectile. I will deffo be playing this game for a longer period in the future since i did enjoy it. Keep up the hard work! :heart:

Thanks for the feedback @Bikereh @Dynamite2479 :smiley: I’ll try to add what you guys said to the game like the long rounds and slow bullets. Do you want any features added to the game?

Honestly just fixing the pace of the game like speed of projectiles, npcs and maybe consider dashes being faster, with the pace changes im sure it would make these mechanics feel way better.

A feature i would find cool is exploding tanks. I noticed in the first stage that there are alot of tanks and barrels which dont seem to do anything. Would find it cool if they could explode and deal area damage. Also while playing i noticed that spamming the dash button will respect the cooldown thats set for the dash but if you spam it, it seems to give me alot of frame drops, maybe investigate into that a little and see why it could be happening.

Either way i see a ton of potential and i like the stage and dungeon system (reminds me of treasure quest which i really liked in 2019). Keep working and try promoting it! im sure itll do well.

You used premade instances to create bullets right?

Is that when you store objects instead of deleting and recreating them?
I don’t think I do that but I might try since you suggested it

i ended up getting to play with you and i have to say the game is much better than i expected, it does feel a little unbalanced however it has the quality of a front page game and it has alot of potential :+1:

It was fun playing with you :smiley: I agree I need to balance it some more. Also, you unlocked the Lava Chamber dungeon when you left at level 15
