C4d or blender (rendering)

I would like to know which one is better, I am a experienced blender user but find trouble doing realism and cool creations like this: https://twitter.com/RipperGFX/status/1413291377966796806

You can do realism and cool creations with blender, no need to pay a bunch of money for a program like cinema 4d to achieve it. The example you showed is made in blender. Anyways, its the render engine that mostly matters not the 3d program. So its Cycles vs Octane vs C4D Physical if you want to research it, Octane which is normally seen in C4D is what would make someone lean towards it but still a bunch of money you dont need to pay for.

Ripper himself uses blender and you can actually pull this off quite easily. just multiple material containers, soft light pointing and effects!

I’d also recommend trying to use somethink like Photoshop, Photopea or Affinity Photo.
Post-processing and compositing are a big part of these kinds of GFX artworks, so I’d 100% suggest you have a look into that. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

what do you mean by material containers?

you just add PBR textures of materials from ambientcg.com or blenderkit if you have that plugin.
