Valley Warriors Update
New content, polishes, optimizations, and more! Check it all out below!
New Weapon: AK-47
Ah yes, this weapon.
This has been one of the top requests for Caliber. We’ve been secretive about our plans on implementing it, but no more!
The AK-47, officially known as the Avtomat Kalashnikov, is a gas-operated assault rifle that is chambered for the 7.62×39mm cartridge. Developed in the Soviet Union by Russian small-arms designer Mikhail Kalashnikov, it is the originating firearm of the Kalashnikov family of rifles. (Wikipedia)
New Map: Nihon Valley
A serene environment… the perfect place to die.
Nihon Valley is our newest addition to the map pool. It features a variety of gameplay options, ranging from rooftop chases to cliffside cover. Lots of beautiful environment to look at – right before you crush your enemies!
New Characters: Valley Warriors Set
A collection of tough, dangerous warriors.
Brute, Ghille, Desert Trooper, Devil, Absorber, and FEAR Soldier have all been added to the default character collection. Users that don’t own the use your own avatar gamepass will have these automatically equip.
Other Changes
Improved camera animation
- Multi-axis, rough, and amplified shaking gives a more heavy feel to movements.
Updated main menu
- The menu has the shop and inventory buttons removed and replaced with gamepass buttons. We are reimagining how we will monetize and form progression in the game for both simplification and reward.
Reverted winter updates
- No more snow, jingles, or holiday shenanigans! All winter-based updates have been archived.
Removed bad characters and maps
- There’s no need to keep iffy content in the game… so we removed it.
New menu soundtrack
- Something less simple and more ambience-y is nice to have as a background. It’s temporary but still shows the direction we want to take with the menu track.
Other small changes
- The usual – polishes, optimizations, fixes. Blah blah, nobody cares.
