Calmfall - General feedback

Hi, I’m in the process of soft-launching my game Calmfall. I’m looking to collect feedback on the game in general and also ask a couple specific questions. Here’s a google form you can fill out after playing.

In the form I ask if you think the game’s experience is worth a 25 R$ buy-in. If you’d like to elaborate on your answer for that question here, I’d appreciate some discussion on that. I’m not as worried about attracting sales as I am making sure players are satisfied with the value they get from the game. I know single player experiences aren’t really as valuable as multiplayer experiences on ROBLOX, so I plan on adding a “multiplayer” mode to play alongside a friend in the future if there is enough demand among players. As well as a spectate features.

My biggest concern is that people will regret their purchase due to glitchy physics leading to a bad experience. The parts are server sided and there is a server size of 10 currently. I may reduce this to 6 or 7 soon to be on the safe side. There are about 30-50 constantly moving parts max per player in the game. I’m not sure what I can do to optimize. If anyone has any questions, wants clarification on that, or may have any insight I’d appreciate it.

So, general thoughts on the game from both the outside & inside? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Hello!

I’ve bought the game and went ahead to try it out. The thumbnails were perfect and resembled the game in a non-misleading interpretation.

I soon as I joined the game, I immediately noticed that starting screen is a bit “empty”
You should try filling up the space, unless you’re trying to go for the aesthetic of a simplistic style. In which case, that’s fine.

Although I’ve already mentioned this on the form that I’ve finished filling out, there’s no background music in the game, which makes it feel a bit boring in a sense.

I’ve added the rest of the stuff there, so you can check it out whenever you have the time to!

Hey! I should’ve probably mentioned this in the post but background music and sound effects are definitely on the way. Thank you for your response.

Oh, that’s great!

Other then the other points I’ve mentioned, this game is good.
