-Community Management

Community Rules

Throughout your stay within our community, we expect that you:

Abide by the ROBLOX Community Rules and Terms of Use at all times.

Abide by the Discord Guidelines and Terms of Service at all times.

Abide by our own implemented rules, both for in-game and Discord must be abided to at all times.

Failure to abide by any of these may result in removal from the community as a whole, both removing access to our games and our communications.

Our moderation teams can remove you for any reason, being considerate and responsible in the process - and they should always be able justify their actions no matter the situation as they will be held accountable if there are any complaints that come forward.

If you have been removed from our games or communications and believe the removal was false, you may appeal the removal by messaging:

Roleplay Rules

To ensure that roleplay within our games is enjoyable, we have a number of roleplay rules enforced throughout the game. By following these rules, you are less likely to be removed from our community. Any roleplay that you do must be well thought out, constructive, worthwhile, fun and you must always have a purpose.

Your roleplay must be realistic and fit for the area the game is based. Our current map, Ely (Foxton coming soon), is not any major city, it’s a small village, therefore, you should do more roleplays that represent your surroundings - and mainly enjoy it.

Your roleplay must be able to accommodate the current server population. For example, do not proceed with a firearms scenario when no firearms are online.

Any actions within roleplay must be made obvious as actions. This can be done with an asterisk, hyphen or with how you word the message. For example; “Pushes” “-Cuffs-” “I’d take the item.”

Do not randomly kill other players.

Be aware of the current role plays and the availability of the current services. Do not do a time-sensitive roleplay when the service is currently unavailable.

Do not force roleplay upon people.

Do different roleplays. Repetitive roleplays are fun for no one. For example, knife & gun crime.

Do not always be a criminal; we offer a number of roleplay opportunities for all our members other than crime. Constant crime puts our police under a lot of strain and can often make roleplays not enjoyable for them.

Do not abuse the !help command. You may use this command to obtain a moderator for any administrative purposes; however, do not use this command for any non-urgent reason.

Be aware of the mechanics of a number of equipment used by our many services and roleplay as such. For example; if you have been shot by armed police, you are unlikely to run off, if you have been batoned by the police you would be in extreme pain and not be physically capable of running off.

You can not adjust an on-going roleplay so it best suits your desires (powergaming). You must be willing to roleplay a situation to its fullest and not ruin the experience of others. For example, if you get caught by the police, you can’t just randomly end the roleplay or if you’re pinned to the ground by 3 huge police officers, you wouldn’t be able to get up and run.

Doing things with the intention of trying to gain police attention (police baiting), like engaging police into an active chase or situation without an actual roleplay purpose is prohibited. For example, ramming the officer, pulling knives out randomly or speeding past the officer, etc…

Do not interrupt any ongoing scenarios. There is plenty of opportunities to make your own roleplay.

Please remember to drive realistically at all times, In particular, around the high street is the main issue. Going into the wrong lanes, being all over the road, speeding around blind corners and not giving away, smashing into vehicles and driving off is not fun for anybody and is prohibited unless there is a reasonable excuse to say otherwise.

Do not block roads on purpose, like standing on the road, jumping on top of peoples vehicles or parking in the middle of busy roads without reasonable excuse.

Always make sure that you have a realistic avatar when joining the game.

Consequences

You have to remember, Cambridgeshire is community based at the end of the day, so our moderators have been given guidance on methods of de-escalation, so a punishment structure might not always be the way to go because there is no point in a person receiving such a harsh punishment for breaking minor rules through a fully strict and regulated structure.

However, in the circumstance where simply talking to the person is not working, the consequences for the above rules usually follow this common punishment structure:

WARN

KICK

SERVER BAN

LONG TEMPORARY BAN OR PERMANENT BAN - Can also be an option.

Blacklists are for the most serious offenders, such as exploiters, leakers, and other serious rule offenders.

If you are under the impression any punishment you have been given was unjust please contact:
SailTheStarlight / Ajeeto#1452

These rules are regularly updated and adapted as the community grows.
