Camera clipping through meshes

On the left side of this image, you can see that the camera is clipping through the mesh for some reason. Scaling the model up fixes this however I can’t scale the model up in this case as it has to be this size. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can’t you just move the seat a little bit?

unfortunately it only seems to be affected by rotation and not movement?
