Camera rotation does not work correctly in live games

Does not occur in Studio.

Camera rotation sensitivity seems to be significantly lowered, and the camera will occasionally make discontinuous jumps in the rotation.

Reproduction is easy: just hop into an empty game and try rotating the camera.

The first time I encountered the bug it would only occur while my character was walking at the same time as rotating the camera. However when I reproduced it in an empty game, the rotation problem happened all the time, not just when walking.

I use a 4k monitor with 150% scaling, but changing scaling to 100% did not fix the issue.

I’ve gotten the same issue, it seems to happen in every game

This is occurring in my game as well, extremely noticeable as it’s a shooter game. Something it off with the input reading as we use an entirely custom camera system

Currently having the same issue with the latest patch

Just noticed this bug right after Roblox client updated

Games don’t have to be empty in order for this bug to be reproduced

ive been having this bug for a month now, im glad that you’ve pointed it out and filed a bug report about it. for some reason it scales with your FPS. if your FPS is low then the camera will be smooth, however if its high then your camera will be a bit buggy.

This also occurred with 60fps. So scaling with your FPS doesn’t really matter I think

It happens to me aswell, it started to be an issue today. I hope Roblox find a way to fix this bug.

UPDATE: for me, this got fixed quite relativity quickly. I think if you just let your computer est for some time, I think it would just get used to it idk.

TLDR: bug is fixed for me, solution is unknown

We’re still seeing this in some of our games right now, and in 3rd party games.

Interestingly it only fixes if you hit F12 to record your gameplay using Roblox, but as soon as you finish recording it bugs out again.

I’m also experiencing this on the latest update, hoping the engineers are able to fix it as it makes playing games unplayable.

I’m noticing this as well, it gets more disorienting when I try to turn my sensitivity up!

It’s reminiscent of when the camera control in studio play testing was all jittery, unpredictable, and just… off.

Jeez can these people not break these completely random things!?

Same issue here, appears to affect all (?) experiences.

Experienced this today on Crossroads, ruined my LIFE. Glad to see it’s affecting others, hope it gets fixed soon.

Makes my game completely unplayable to me. Panning the camera is crucial to aiming

Using default camera scripts, happens on a baseplate as well.

I found out the issue. It’s occuring for people that have Byfron aka the Roblox anti cheat rolled out.
