Camera Rotation Jittery / Skips

So the mouse rotation in Studio is pretty wonky as of recently. I’ve been putting up with for a while now. When you hold right click and move the mouse I expect the camera to rotate smoothly. But instead it seems to skip an entire 5 or 10 degrees maybe more.

The bug appears on every place, when ever you specifically try to rotate the camera.

My video card is a MSI GTX 960 OC 4GB
CPU is an AMD FX 4350 4.2GHZ Quad Core (that windows treat as a dual core… )
I have 16GBs of Memory.

I can confidently say that the recent update did not break it. It was like this before then. This bug report is probably long overdue.

I just disabled all of my plugins to see if maybe one of those was causing this issue, And can confirm the issue still exist.

Gonna try a windows update.

Camera in studio is perfectly smooth for me. Could you try with another mouse, or with adjusted mouse sensitivity settings?

I unfortunately don’t have another mouse. But this mouse does have DPI buttons. I tried those as well as changing settings in Mouse Options and disabling Enhance Pointer Precision. I’m still getting the same issue as above.

How far is your camera from the origin by chance? You can determine this by placing a part in the center of your map and seeing what the position property is.

If it’s above 1,000,000, this problem occurs due to floating point errors.

Right next to the Origin. It’s fine though, I was on Windows 10 1803 17134.706 Which was causing incompatibility with my video card. I noticed that this problem wasn’t limited to just Roblox shortly after making this post.

I decided to do a Windows Update. And can confirm this has fixed the issue. Smooth as butter.
