I do not have a long thread, you can check out the plugin here: http://www.roblox.com/Camera-Waypoint-Plugin-item?id=156420821
Basically saves camera locations, and you can hit a button and have your camera’s location (CoordinateFrame and Focus) to the saved location. They do persist. No real limit to saves in a profile, and no profile limit.
Not much different in offline, only the plugin icon does not load.
pretty useful for builds I can assume
I’ve been needing this forever. Couldn’t really do anything due to my lack of serious scripting ability, though.
I never thought this would be useful (except for HUGE maps).
Mostly made this because the focus goes wrong when using the scroll wheel while moving the camera.
Let me know if parts do not work.
I usually just select a part where I need to go to and hit ‘f’ to focus in on the part/model. Neat concept though
The f key for focusing is good feature. Not the best thing for things like Thumbnails.
On mobile… what does this do?
Basically, you can save spots where you camera is, then press a button and have your camera move there.
How would this make it any different for thumbnails?

If you want to do work, but keep your camera in the same spot, you can save the camera location, do your work, then hit the button to have your camera return there, then save.
