Can a Remove Event work inside of a Script?

Hello there,

I have a tool that my friend gave to me, which he made in 2016. And it appears to stop working every time I re-spawn, and was curious to see if the reason it was breaking was because the Remote Event was inside of the Script instead of in ReplicatedStorage. Could that be the reason my tool is breaking?

It doesn’t matter where RemoteEvents are.

To expand on what Kampfkarren said - it doesn’t matter where your remote events are placed as long as they’re in a place where both the client and the server can see them. In this case it’s fine.
