Yes it most definitely can. I would recommend not using free models.
If you add a free model you should check everything what’s inside it. Thats the best thing you can do.

i always check for backdoor scripts + this is a mesh not a model
basically its just a Round cube Mesh i found on meshes section
Yes they can. All free models can have one it them.
Free Models: Definitely could have malicious code in them.
Meshes: Unlikely to have malicious code unless people have found ways to upload things other than meshes. Things like this have happened in the past where users have bypassed any checks for validating the type of the asset.
If you’ve inserted a mesh from the toolbox, from the meshes section then you should be absolutely fine.
