Can anyone explain how Hell Reaver runs so smoothly?

I’m looking for someone to help me figure out how Hell Reaver runs so smooth even on a low end laptop? PoptartNoahh explained how they were finding a way to make the game run smooth even on a “potato pc”. I was quite surprised when I joined on my laptop to see how detailed it was but how smoothly it ran. I’m looking to try re-create this but I need some help.

If anyone knows what they did and how they did it, please let me know.

From what I gather by appearance, most ‘effects’ are just using the built-in Roblox neon, and aside from glint on metal, there’s no sort of lighting or other post-processing effects. That’s all I can gather though, a good deal of it probably just efficient coding.

I think they reuse MeshIds, for the rocks/trees as well as heavily compressing any non-Roblox texture.
