It appears like Roblox Studio has an origin where clouds generate in the workspace; when your position is above the clouds, they become invisible. I built a massive map but accidentally built it at too high of an altitude within the workspace for clouds to be able to be seen in the sky by players. The terrain is too extensive to even begin thinking about moving it down somehow and I am not sure what to do about this.
I really want clouds in the game… Is it possible to adjust this point for clouds? Is it possible to move the game’s origin up to where the map is?
Unfortunately, moving the workspace’s origin/position has no effect on the clouds and terrain does not move when you move the workspace so I guess I’m going to have to figure out some way to move the terrain down.
You would think since it is a child of the workspace, but sadly it does not. Looks like this is an infamous problem on Roblox, the map is too big to be selected by the terrain tool’s move function dimensions. And the map crashes every terrain-moving plugin I try. Wish there was a good solution to such a seemingly simple issue.
