Can I link to a post in Lounge in the replies on Updates? As Lounge is restricted to Regulars and Updates is public, I am not sure if I can. But the link leaks nothing other than the post title, when someone with no access clicks the link, they only get “access denied”.
Yes. Non-regulars can’t see the topic. I’ve seen this done before.

Generally you shouldn’t leak titles either. So what you can do is just link the topic ID.

What I basically want to do is to say that an admin has a appreciation thread. Can I do that?
Yes but if it’s in a place non-regulars can also see, I recommend taking out the title as well

Yes. You can do that. Just take out the title for extra measures. You’re good.
For me that just leads to nothingness, I can still see the devforum top bar but nothing else. I notice that the post ID is the same as this current post so I know it is not restricted. I am bringing this up to let people know that there is a potential bug that causes links without titles not to work.
Yeah it is a weird bug but worth it. Just refresh and it will work
