If I run multiple sponsors/campaigns on the same game, will that cause any issues? I’ve run two test sponsors before on accident on the same game on and noticed it provided a much higher ccu then regularly. I couldn’t find a definite answer anywhere.
Ah I see, I’m honestly just very confused with the new sponsor/ad system entirely. Each $5.00USD test sponsor I’ve done would bring in on average around 500 plays with 60k impressions solely across mobile devices. However, after doing an actual sponsor of 50+ ad credits, it seems to be on track to give the exact same amount of impressions and visits as the $5 sponsor? One of the $5 test sponsors alone brought in 40+ ccu at one point, it just seems so random with sponsors now.
Have you had the same experience? If so how could you possibly bring in enough attention/players to be seen on the algorithm if theres a good chance that your sponsor/ad will be a bust?
I ALWAYS run my ads on weekends; weekdays are extremely ineffective for my game since my audience is much younger. One thing I’ve noticed is throughout the time I’ve had different icons, there were more or less players. The same goes for titles, a little emoji could go a long way (applies to something like “Game [BIG UPDATE]”. Sponsors are showing your title and icon to players, and if they mix well you get success.
Ah, I also have a younger target audience. Assuming you do relatively larger sponsors, do you set the bid higher? I’ve also heard since the age changes regarding to who you can advertise to, it’s best to select 17+ and 18-25 since a lot of the younger players lie about their account age.
I usually sponsor for above 50k, usually 90k and that boosts my player count by ~60 players even 2 days after the sponsors end up but brings in dislikes. I select everything for my sponsors; all ages genders devices because my games are designed for it.
