Re-hosting clips from something you don’t own into your game will run you into copyright issues.

what if i give credits to the anime creator company? i will say such
the folowing clips were taken from “__” company and they are truly for illustraion purposes

Probably not. But nobody says you cannot recreate the clips with state-of-the-art in-game cutscenes.

No. #help-and-feedback:platform-usage-support probably is.

Whether or not the company takes action depends on them. Simply giving credits isn’t enough for some cases (cough Nintendo).

It’s best to not use the clips

Credits won’t defend you from copyright issues

no, #help-and-feedback:game-design-support probably is the appropriate category

well u know ufotable, the company who made demon slayer anime version,
i was gonna get clips from that and put it into my game

:nerd_face::point_up:

roblox cutscenes are the equivalent of a middle school play production, it’s wild that u think its ‘state of the art’

u can’t use anime clips bcuz it could bring u massive copyright issues in the future (and not many roblox players can dispute a DMCA claim, unless it’s false)

Even if you could, how would you do it? There’s no way to import custom videos into Roblox at the moment.

If you’re talking about images instead, you should be good. I don’t think a company would go through the hassle of taking down a Roblox game because of 1 frame. Many (popular or less) games already use images from anime shows with no issues.

I was being sarcastic. I meant to add that it’s not even possible to insert the video in the first place.

Nope. The only way you’d have any argument is if the rights owner gave permission, but 1) they aren’t going to and 2) ROBLOX usually still doesn’t care.

there is a way called “video frame”
