What do you want to achieve? i want to use a rope constraint between two zones of the same mesh, for example: a cylinder in the air, and the lower part of it must seem to be hung up to the upper part, using a rope constraint.
What is the issue? i don’t know if it’s possible, i hope i don’t have to separate the mesh in single parts because it would ruin it.
What solutions have you tried so far? i looked on the devforum but couldn’t find anything useful.
Can you post pictures explaining this? It would seem you have one mesh with a gap in the middle? Adding a constraint wont make “separate parts” in the same mesh interact.
this is my mesh. imagine that its upper part is welded to the roof using a rope constraint. and that’s fine. what i want to do is create another rope constraint between the top and bottom of the mesh, making the bottom dangle. let me know if i wasn’t clear enough
So the top of the fish is connected and dangling from a roof? shouldnt the whole fish dangle then? Sorry im confused… i dont see a need for more than one rope constraint to make this fish dangle from any location.
Are you wanting the bottom to dangle separately from the top part? this cannot happen with one mesh, it must be separate pieces.
