Hey. Look at this picture:
A ROBLOX staff member has the role, “Leader”. I wonder, is it possible for a non-staff member to get the Leader role? I’ve seen some other staff that don’t have the “Leader” role.
Thanks for helping out and reading this. Have a nice day.
All of the Lead Top Contributors have the “leader” trust level, giving them tools such as being able to edit all posts, move them, etc.
The staff that have “leader” trust level are generally Developer Relations members or those who post frequently on here.
Oh. I didn’t know that LTCs had the role too. Should have done some research before making this! Thanks for the help!
Is there a reason why some developer relations staff members don’t have the role ?
My assumption would be that it’s given to those who really need it. I can’t imagine that someone working in a technical department would need the leader role, just the ability to post in announcements. On the other hand, someone who works with developers (and/or manages the forum itself) would likely have the leader trust level.
That’s just my assumption, though. There might be a detailed internal policy for staff regarding who gets it and who doesn’t.

Some aren’t forum moderators. Just because they are roblox staff doesn’t mean that they have administrative permissions on the forums.
