Can parts that aren't parented cause lag?

If you create a part in a script, but don’t parent it, can it cause any damage to the server?

It will increase memory but I don’t think it’s very far off if you did parent it. It’s just stored in memory as opposed to stored in workspace, replicated and rendered.

what if there’s like a move you use ingame that creates that part that isn’t parented over and over? Is the server eventually going to lag?

like i also forgot to mention about if it’s destroyed or not, will it cause server lag?

It will most likely act like a normal part in a map. I recommend you remove them when you don’t need for good measure. Just don’t have tons it will barely affect performance
