The idea for this game is really cool! I really like it because it is a lot of fun.
It reminds me of a game I saw before, not on roblox, where you get different skills as you advance inside a map to progress to new areas.
This is like that game, but to a smaller extent since it is only an obby and the jumppower, but for what I played, it was really fun and gameplay was smooth.
I’m gonna be honest, I only played until Stage 1; not because I didn’t like the game but because I don’t enjoy obbies in general.
The background music was also really good in my opinion; it was calm and serene, which I really liked.
A few suggestions:
The UI could be better
→ The color choice is strange, and it looks off when compared to the rest of the game, and the R button has no indication to what it does. The JumpPower indicator is fine however and I really like the stroke color changes based on how much you have!
Maybe add Checkpoints?
→ The pads where you get JumpPower really feel like they should work like checkpoints, just from how they look and how they function. When I died and had to start over, it was surprising since the pads really felt like they would function like checkpoints.
The game overall lacks polish
→ The builds don’t look great (especially the lobby areas) and the UI, like I mentioned before, looks rather strange in comparison to the rest of the game.
→ I don’t want your game to be flashy like a simulator game, but visual and sound design is what really makes a game feel polished. From things like a notification when you get to a new stage, to sound effects when your jump power reaches a really high amount (like a power up sound effect) make the game feel alive and complete.
Really liked the game overall, keep working on it and keep polishing it because it can be great like the likes of games like Steep Steps, with simple but fun mechanic.
