Can too much Realism in Roblox be a bad thing?

Hello. I’ve been seriously considering a new idea for a game with my team, but I’m starting to wonder if it might actually be “too much” for Roblox, though I’m not sure yet how Roblox defines that.

To explain the game shortly, the player will have the option to use real-life objects as weapons for destruction, including something like a pencil for example, and basically you’re only objective will be to wreak as much havoc as you can to earn points and rewards.

I’d like to know how other developers feel about this concept, and if it is “too much” or not.

If you’re talking about the game concept, I don’t see a problem. If you’re talking about details, it may become a problem in terms of performance for lower-end users.

Hm, well I’m also wondering what is too far as far as weapons. Like, are things like electric drills, metal rakes, etc okay?

I mean things like knives are fine so I wouldn’t see those as an issue. Just no gore (intense realistic blood and stuff that may be concerning)

Thanks for the input! I may have just been worrying too much about getting a game taken down for having an extreme feel. It won’t have any blood so I think It’ll be okay.

Well, it will not be a bad thing though, according to ROLOX TOS if you want to make your game for xbox players make sure there is no swearing or blood/gore. When you managed to follow all steps, a knife (without blood on it) would be fine.
