You can get that material still.
Just use diamond metal material then duplicate it and make the duplicated part .5 transparency then change the duplicated part’s material to corroded metal.
If the two parts have the exact same position and size with one of the parts having a transparency other than 0 there will be no Z-Fighting.

Problem then is the lag that ensues. Double-textures + semi-invisible parts don’t make for a very smooth game.
Double parts = double rendering + double loading times over network = double lag = bad UX
Sorry my solution was such as bad idea. Please feel free to voice your own solution so we can all mock the blatant cons it withholds.

I don’t think any of the original materials will look nice compared to what we have now. The thing I want back was added with the other new materials, but they changed it to what we have now due to complaints on how it didn’t look like the old corroded material.
Yes please. I loved the old wood textures so god damn much; they fit waaaaay better than the current types.

Well the Planks are fine because they’re so different. But having noticeable grain replaced by a texture you can’t even see from 10 studs away was super lame haha
