Hello guys,
We are currently in the process of developing a Roblox game and are exploring the integration of NFTs (minted on Casper Network) as in-game items to enhance transparency within our game logic.
Before proceeding further, we want to ensure that our plans align with Roblox policies. We have some questions about this topic:
Is the integration of NFTs as in-game items within a Roblox game permissible under current Roblox policies?
Are there any specific guidelines or considerations we should keep in mind while implementing NFTs in our game?
If there are additional steps or approvals required for such integration, could you please outline them for us?
We understand the importance of compliance with Roblox policies and want to ensure that our game development aligns with the platform’s guidelines.
Any help would be appreciated!
Edit: Our NFT item is simply a game asset and does not involve gambling or scams.
Edit2: We only track the items users have in their wallet; there is no in-game function to purchase NFTs.
If you’re a recognizable brand / you have a lot of money the I guess sure.
Summarized answer for my response(s): Roblox doesn’t allow real money trade for in game value. And also Nft’s can be considered gambling/trading which is also against roblox T. O. S. Also, introducing this to a player base consisting of mostly kids would not help your idea thrive and grow even if it was allowed cause children can’t do all of that yet. I don’t even think they know what NFT’s are
Hi there, thank you for your quick response. Could you share any information about the second question with us? Additionally, our NFT item is simply a game asset and does not involve gambling or scams.
There is actively a game where YOU are the NFT.
so with it just being developer products or gamepasses, I’d assume it’s allowed
or this game would be banned: PLS BUY ME đź’¸ - Roblox
note that it doesnt market as NFT’s but it is still NFT’s, instead its collectables! like pokemon cards!
Pet Simulator got away with an NFT scheme a few years ago. If you or I did that, we would be in some deep s**t with ROBLOX, but the Pet Simulator developer(s) are HUGE developers, and, as such, ROBLOX would lose a lot of money if they took action against their game(s) and just left it as is.
