Can you change all terrain of one material to that of another?

I have a pretty large map that has some pretty intricate material painting with the terrain, and I was wondering if it were possible to convert everything in the map of a certain material to a different one.
I’m specifically trying to make a winter-themed version of my map by changing all the Grass terrain to Snow, but I can’t seem to find anything of the sort by searching around. Has anyone done this before?

I’m not that much of an expert with terrain, however you can change the grass colour to white, and it will look convincing.

If you know some Lua you can probably easily adapt this thing I wrote a little while ago to check for the grass material and replace it with snow.

I’m at work right now but I can probably adapt it in 30 minutes over lunch after work if you’re not sure how.

Here’s something I slapped together that works on a small scale. No idea if it will work for the size of what you need, but you can try it. Might want to set batch size a bit higher or it will take forever. But also too high and Studio might start freaking out thinking you’ve crashed.
