Can you get removed from devforum for inactivity?

I have been inactive for reasons that I will not share.

But I am worried I will be kicked if I am inactive for too long. I will continue being gone for awhile.

Will I lose my membership if I am too long inactive?

I don’t think so. But you won’t get full member either.

You should probably ask a Top Contributor or Lead Top Contributor

You won’t lose your developer forum status unless you do something that warrants it, such as disrespecting others. As said before, you won’t suddenly find yourself as a full member either, but it won’t affect your chances since it still based on what you have posted, not when.
