Hey sorry to reopen (again), but is this the case for user created content? Eg can I use a cape someone put on the store for sale on one of my models? thanks

Some people say “yes”, some people say “no”. It’s best to ask the owner of the UGC beforehand because I believe they may be able to DMCA otherwise, but don’t quote me on it.

I think it is fine to use items made by Roblox, but when it is UGC stuff I have been a little unsure, so yeah do what @Ty_Scripts said and ask first.

Thanks, do any of you happen to know the best way to go about this? I believe ive seen around a lot that if you follow people you can proceed to message them afterwards, but when I do the message button is still always greyed out?

If they are on the DevForum you can try messaging them there. If not I guess you can try social media but that’s if you are allowed to.
