We uploaded a bunch of assets through Asset Manager, but realized there was a mistake. What’s the first thing that comes to mind? Get rid of it, and redo it!
However, we cannot do this because there are no decals attached to the image. Images cannot be archived, and asset manager doesn’t allow us to delete it either. This causes us to have a bunch of useless images inside of our Asset Manager, and we will never use again.
Image archiving is not supported right now. What this person said in the old thread is accurate:
The team is looking into adding more organizational features to the new Asset Manager that should help with managing clutter.
For the image on sale issue, are you talking about the text at the bottom of the Asset Configuration modal? We can look into tweaking the wording a bit.
Should this be made into a feature request instead? I understand that archiving images alone is difficult since they are used for a lot of stuff such as badges and game thumbnails, but I do think that the Asset Manager should therefor include Decals with them since uploading one-by-one on create.roblox.com does include a decal
Yes this would be a feature request. Even the previous Asset Manager did not support decal upload. We know inventory clutter is big pain point so we’re looking into ways to manage this with the beta.
