I am unable to change anything in my Model’s settings.
I made it public domain so a friend could take it, and now I cannot lock it back down.

Let me guess – you had an apostrophe in the name / description?
Go fix the name / description so it doesn’t have that thingy (you’ll know what I’m talking about when you see it)
