I have begun a process of wiping various things from my Roblox inventory that I no longer want. From accessories to classic clothing assets, everything has been smooth (in part thanks to other DevForum posts).
I ran into issues when I started going through my Decals. I suspect that this has to do with these assets being linked to the Creator Hub rather than the Marketplace.
Problem: I cannot access the Creator Hub pages for any Decals uploaded by terminated users, whether or not the decal I want to remove itself was moderated. They return a 404 error.
Example 1:
Decal to the left I am able to access and can remove from my inventory using its Creator Hub page if I wanted to, as the uploading user is not terminated.
Decal to the right, despite being an unmoderated asset, was uploaded by a terminated user (indicated by there being no author linked to the decal) therefore I cannot access its Creator Hub page to delete it from my inventory.
Example 2:
Decal to the left is the same case where it can be removed by normal means.
Decal to the right is a moderated asset but it still cannot be removed from my inventory, as it has no Creator Hub page (being moderated and all).
What I Have Already Tried That Didn’t Work
- Copying the asset IDs and pasting them in place of other asset type’s IDs, such as Classic Shirts in the Marketplace and Image assets on the Creator Hub.
- Using the BTRoblox Chrome extension’s Inventory Tools to ‘check’ an item and click the ‘Remove’ button, which has been a feature of the extension that has been broken for all item types for a number of months now (see image).
From here I am lost and have no idea how to get items deleted from my own inventory whose Creator Hub pages cannot be accessed. Any pointers on how to delete these normally undeletable Decals from my own inventory, or any word as to why they can’t be removed, would be a huge help. Thank you
