Cannot distribute Packages on Creator Store

Attempting to allow distributing my package on the creator store, and saving those changes, I get an error.

The error implies that I don’t meet some sort of requirements to do this action. This is a bug, because there’s no requirements listed anywhere for making packages public. I can understand this for UGC and plugins, but not packages.

OS: Windows 11
Browser: Microsoft Edge
First known occurrence: June 16th, 2024

Expected behavior

I expect the saves to correctly save, which would allow others to use my package.

Instead of giving an error, it prevents me from using the setting. Somebody worked on this but didn’t fix the issue…

Hi, thank you for reporting this,

The error message should now be updated to more accurately describe this restriction. Currently, creator store doesn’t allow for the public distribution of packages.

We do however plan on allowing this soon, and you can check the creator roadmap for more information on this.
