Cannot turn off 2 step Verification despite email and other security settings are off

Reproduction:

Basically, go to settings. You will see there is an email setting to turn it off. That still sends emails saying you need to check it for the 6 digit code

Expected behavior:

Once I flip the switch for the email off, I should not have to verify myself

Actual Behavior:

Tells me to check my email for a 6 digit code

Workaround: Unverify your email

Hey @Coolsbloxian - This is intentional. We ask users that have 2SV enabled to enter their 2SV code when making sensitive account changes. So if you have email 2SV enabled, and are making a change, we’ll send you a 2SV code to enter to verify that it’s you. Gonna close out the post, huge thanks for taking the time.
